Standard terms and conditions Villa San Sebastian Curacao, Eco Resort

If you show interest in a stay at Villa San Sebastian Curaçao, you will receive a quote from us for the desired period. This quote is valid until 5 days after receipt and based on the data received and availability.

When you accept the received quotation, we have a binding agreement and the room is reserved for you, you will receive a confirmation and the invoice for your stay with us.

For bookings within 30 days before the day of arrival, you will receive an invoice for 100% of the accommodation costs. The booking and room are guaranteed when the payment is credited to our account within 5 days after receipt of the invoice. After this, you will receive a booking confirmation from us.

For bookings earlier than 30 days before arrival, you will receive an invoice of which you must transfer the 1st term of 30% of the accommodation costs to our account. The booking and room are guaranteed for you when the payment is credited to our account within 5 days after receipt of the invoice. After this, you will receive a booking confirmation from us. The 2nd term of 70% of the accommodation costs must be in our account no later than 30 days before the arrival date. We do not accept credit cards or checks.

We apply the standard cancellation policy as stated below. For guests who have booked their stay with us via a booking site, other cancellation policies may apply. In case of cancellation up to 30 days before arrival, you owe 30% of the invoice. In case of cancellation within 30 days before arrival, you owe 100% of the invoice. Something can always come up, we advise you to take out a good covering (Pandemic proof) Travel cancellation insurance and to follow the rules that apply at that time regarding travel restrictions to Curaçao.

Villa San Sebastian Curaçao is in no case liable for damage for which a claim for compensation exists under a travel and/or cancellation insurance or any other insurance.

If you have not paid the invoice on the due date or do not fulfil other obligations under this agreement, the owner has the right to demand fulfilment and/or compensation. If the breach of contract gives sufficient reason to do so, the landlord has the right to terminate the agreement without the intervention of the court.

Villa San Sebastian Curaçao accepts no liability for theft, loss, damage or injury of or to property or persons, of any nature whatsoever, during or as a result of the stay at Villa San Sebastian Curaçao. Liability for damage consisting of loss of travel enjoyment or business and other consequential damage is excluded in all cases.

Children under the age of 18 may only use the infinity pool and/or the gym facility under the supervision of an adult. If you lose the remote control of the gate that you receive from us upon arrival, we are forced to charge €100. In case of loss of the keys to your room and safe, we will charge an amount of €75.

If a defect of any kind occurs during your stay (for example, power or water failure, equipment failure, WiFi reception failure or leakage), this is a case of force majeure and does not entitle you to a refund of paid rent. You must report the defect as soon as possible to the owner Mary de Vries, or in her absence to the manager, who will take steps as soon as possible to resolve the situation;

If you break something or cause damage in any other way, you must report this and we will determine in consultation what a reasonable amount is that you must pay us.

Check in on the day of arrival after 3 p.m. in principle, check out on the day of departure no later than 11 a.m., if otherwise desired, this is only possible in consultation.

Villa San Sebastian Curaçao is a non-smoking property, smoking is not allowed inside and candles are not allowed to be burned. If it is determined that smoking or candles have been burned inside, an additional cleaning fee of €100 will be charged.

Smoking is allowed on the terrace of the studio, at the cabana and in the garden, provided that other guests are not inconvenienced and you throw the cigarette butts in the ashtray.

Burning candles on the studio terrace is also allowed.

Water and electricity are expensive on Curaçao, the prices for the rooms include normal use, we would like to keep it that way, so please be economical with the use. When you leave the studio, you must turn off the lights, the fan and the air conditioning.

The use of the air conditioning is not included. At the end of your stay, the number of KWH used will be determined and settled with the deposit, the remaining amount of the deposit will be returned to you.

The use of our accommodation and the swimming pool is in principle only for guests staying with us. In connection with fire safety and legal regulations regarding the permitted number of people in our resort, we need to know who is present at Villa San Sebastian Curaçao and

how many guests are present.

Having a cup of coffee is always possible after consultation and free of charge. If that person uses all kinds of facilities such as gym, swimming pool, shower, etc., a daily rate of € 15 per person applies. Max. 2 guests per studio. Overnight stays are only possible if another studio

is available and upon payment of the rate applicable at that time.

Pets are not allowed.

All possible disputes arising from this agreement are exclusively governed by Curaçao law.

All administrative, judicial and/or extrajudicial costs incurred by the landlord due to the guest's failure to comply with the rental agreement are for the account of the guest.
